PG Admissions 2020-21

Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) is a Private University established under Karnataka State Act 17 of 2018.

Admission to Postgraduate programmes of SSSUHE are now open for the year 2020-21. The University offers Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Master of Arts (M.A) programmes.

Being a residential system of education, all the University students are required to stay in the designated hostels mandatorily. The medium of instruction in the University is English.

Fee Structure

The education provided in SSSUHE is completely free of cost such as boarding, lodging, maintenance etc.

Basic Criteria for Applying
  • 10 years of Schooling with 2 years of Pre-University / Intermediate education.

  • 3 years of University education with minimum of 50% marks in English and at least 55% aggregate marks in the main subject disciplines in their Undergraduate exams are eligible to apply. 

  • Subject wise additional eligibility requirement provided in the table below.

Following are the available Subjects for admission into M.A and M.Sc. Programmes for the year 2020-21.

Master of Arts Additional eligibility
History Graduates with BA degree with History as one of the three main subjects with equal weightage, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in History.
English BA / BSc Graduates with English as 1st or 2nd language.
Sanskrit BA / BSc Graduates with Sanskrit as 1st or 2nd language.

Master of Science Additional eligibility
Mathematics Graduates with BSc degree with Mathematics as one of the three main subjects, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Mathematics.
Physics Graduates with BSc degree with Physics as one of the three main subjects, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Physics.
Life Sciences Graduates with BSc degree with any branch of Biological Sciences, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Biological Sciences.

Note:

  • Candidates/their parents/ Guardians must have active personal Email IDs. This is essential as all the correspondence from the University will be over Emails only.

  • Selection will be based on Interview.

  • Request for admission form should be sent via email to admissions@sssuhe.ac.in

  • Following information must be provided in the request mail: 

    • Subject of the email: Admission to SSSUHE (PG) – [Candidate Name]

Admission Process
  • Application form along with the details of the Interview will be sent only after a formal request from the candidate / Parent / Guardian over email, as mentioned above.

  • Completed form must be scanned and sent through Email to admissions@sssuhe.ac.in on or before 22nd October 2020.

  • Incomplete forms will be rejected.

  • Candidate must enclose self – attested copy of all the required documents mentioned in the application form. Submissions without all required enclosures will be rejected.

  • Communication regarding interview to the screened candidates will be done through email as well as SMS.

  • Filled-in form must also be sent via Speed Post/ Registered Post and not through private couriers to the following address in an envelope (A4 size or bigger):
